The Research Institute for Economic Development

The Research Institute for Economic Development was founded in 1997, following three years of detailed research and assessment by a joint task force made up of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, the Tulsa Regional Chamber and the State Chamber of Oklahoma.

Today, RIED is a 501(c) 6 non-profit, non-partisan organization that evaluates the extent to which individual Oklahoma legislators act to advance business interests through their service in the legislature.

Since inception, RIED has analyzed thousands of pieces of legislation to annually produce an analysis of each legislator’s voting record.

Institute research creates a profile of each legislator’s individual voting record for bills dealing with business, industry, job creation and economic growth issues deemed important by the private sector. All legislation introduced during the session regarding issues listed below is evaluated. Each legislator is graded with respect to his or her position on each bill. A wide range of reports, graphic illustrations and voting profiles are disseminated across the state based upon each legislator’s voting record.

Competitive Fee Structure

… but if you are looking for the cheapest, you are probably best served by looking elsewhere…

New tax clients are expected to provide copies of their last 3 years of tax returns and provide permission to contact prior accountant to resolve any issues, if necessary.

Regretfully, I am unable to accept new clients who have unfiled prior-year’s tax returns,  who are not current with all prior tax obligations, are involved in any marijuana-related business ventures, have any income from gambling, or are personal-injury attorneys.

Though not required, supporters of President Donald J. Trump & Governor Kevin Stitt are generally preferred.
